When Babies Throw Fits

Fits One of the most embarrassing things parents have to deal with out of their babies is their fits. When they are older and they try to do things like this in public, you can enforce punishment, but what do you do if your one year old begins screaming in the middle of the grocery store because you won’t give them something they want?

The best way to avoid this situation to start with is to always try to make the shopping trip as pleasant as possible. Schedule public outings around nap time and take a toy or small snack along. Then, if your baby starts to throw a fit in public, you can simply take your baby and yourself, leaving your cart behind, and leave. After a few times, your baby will get the picture and will likely throw less fits.
