You
can’t do anything about your growing tummy and hips.
You can’t do anything about the aches and pains and
exhaustion you feel. It makes sense that you would want to
splurge in other areas to make yourself look and feel great.
There is no problem with going to get a new haircut or new
makeup, but is best that you hold off on getting your teeth
bleached. Most dentists advise against bleaching pregnant
women’s teeth.
There have been no studies on the safety of teeth bleaching
during pregnancy, so any side effects, positive or negative,
are unknown. Because there is no medical need for bleached
teeth, it best to not risk your safety or that of your unborn
baby’s. In fact, whenever you are unsure of the safety
of any product or procedure during pregnancy, it is best to
avoid it unless it is necessary.
