Christmas was my Mother's favorite holiday. She would begin preparing
for it as early as August!
She was 'crafty' and enjoyed creating decorations and gifts with
her own hands. She would go out into the woods and gather most of
the materials she needed to make wonderful wreaths and centerpieces.
Her hands were busy for months crocheting, needlepointing, knitting
and otherwise fashioning marvelous things that have lasted for years
and become heirlooms. As Christmas drew near she would create dozens
of delicious concoctions in the kitchen.
As classically trained pianist and our church's choirmaster, she
would spend weeks preparing our amateur voices to perform the grandest
cantatas, worthy of any much larger cathedral.
In honor of her love for the season, I've created this website packed
